| As I find myself in the middle of my weekend, still unemployed, and questioningly looking at these 2007 tax files on my desks with a bit of resentment due to the fact that I have already "paid my dues" to the government and filed my taxes (albeit with 5 days to spare), I wonder "isn't the novelty of filing online taxes so that you can save a little postage and trade in writter's cramp for some fun with carpeltunnels? Why is it that I still have to print out some official form-docu something or other and mail it off thus stalling my return? You might be wondering why with being unemployed (and going on week 5 respectively) did I wait so long to file? I don't know really. Perhaps it was because having worked in a job for a year in a half where the word "procrastination" didn't exist (and I still wonder how in the world I survived there for so long) I missed it a little. Procrastination that is. This is only my third time filing and to my suprise my ONLY time doing it right. After quite a mocking conversation with a 50-something african american IRS agent, I discovered that I had been using the wrong social security number on...well pretty much on anything that has required it for the past 23 years. Turns out the other returns I filed were rejected with out anyone contacting me to let me know. Makes me wonder what other kinda details the IRS may be missing... I am thankful that someone else hasn't been spending my hard earned social security and more importantly that I am not going to be charged with Tax Evasion or something like that.... the end. | | |
| Yes It's that time again. One of my (at times) favorite times of life. Change of Season. I quit my job, and I don't know what I am going to be doing next as far as work goes, something chill that makes money hopefully. We'll see though, I am really at peace with everything. My dad said don't worry about finding a job this week and he's usually pretty strict on being responsible with bringing in the bacon so I am going to trust him on this one. I am camping out in my living room just for the fun and I will be praying about next steps. I am looking forward to this next week of rest and prayer. And I don't have much else to write about...so yeah. Leave a comment cause i love to read them! Amy | | |
